A self-hosted foundation built from the official Supabase images, giving you Postgres as the primary datastore with the surrounding platform services wired around it. That stack includes PostgREST for an instant REST API, realtime subscriptions over the same tables, an auth service handling email, OAuth and JWT sessions, S3-compatible file storage, and edge functions for custom server-side logic.

It suits teams that want the familiar Supabase developer experience and client libraries while running the databases and keys on infrastructure they control.

Hosting it yourself means the database, storage buckets and access tokens never leave your network, removes seat and usage metering from the hosted product, and makes routine snapshot and restore something you can script and rehearse.
