Storybook
An open source workshop for building user interface components in isolation, outside of the full application. It renders each component state in the browser with controls for props, forms for exercising user interaction, visual regression tests, and documentation pages that stay in sync with the code.
Frontend developers and designers use it to share a living component library, to check every variant without seeding a whole app, and to onboard new teammates quickly.
Self-hosting it keeps unreleased designs and internal component libraries on your own servers, costs nothing per user as the team grows, and lets you archive and restore the published docs with your source control.
