SeaweedFS

A distributed storage system that keeps objects, POSIX files and table data behind a single binary, serving them through an S3 compatible gateway, a filesystem, WebDAV or a FUSE mount. Masters track volumes rather than individual files, volume servers hold the data, and stateless filers and S3 gateways scale out horizontally.

Teams use it as an internal S3 endpoint for backup and media pipelines, as a filesystem behind existing applications, or as a cache in front of cloud object storage.

Operating it on your own machines avoids vendor pricing and availability limits, and the volume and filer directories are ordinary disk you can snapshot and restore.
