OpenObserve
OpenObserve pulls logs, metrics, traces and frontend events into a single Rust binary, so every signal can be searched and correlated from one interface. Data is written to columnar Parquet files on local disk or object storage such as S3 or MinIO, and you query logs with SQL and metrics with PromQL rather than a proprietary language.
Platform engineers use it when they want full stack visibility without assembling a separate log, metric and tracing stack, and it accepts OpenTelemetry data alongside Fluent Bit and Filebeat.
Running it inside your own network keeps telemetry private, removes per host and per user billing, and leaves Parquet files you can snapshot and restore.
