KeePassXC
KeePassXC keeps credentials in a single encrypted database file on disk, the KDBX format, which you unlock with a master password. The file is protected with AES encryption and a key derivation function you can tune for speed or memory use, entries hold passwords, TOTP codes and attachments, and the database can live in any folder you choose.
People reach for it when they want a portable vault rather than a hosted account, and teams keep shared work and personal databases the same way.
The desktop application can be accessed remotely through a browser session; because the vault is stored in one file, backup and restore are as simple as copying it.
