Gatus
Gatus is a health dashboard that continuously probes your endpoints over HTTP, TCP, ICMP, and DNS and decides whether each is healthy using conditions on status code, response time, body content, certificate expiry, or resolved IP. It is configured in YAML, keeps uptime history, supports status pages, and can alert to Slack, Discord, PagerDuty, or custom webhooks with failure thresholds.
Teams use it as a synthetic front door for the APIs and third-party dependencies they rely on.
Self-hosting it on your own infrastructure means the list of your internal services is not published to a third party, there is no per-check pricing, and the configuration and history are easy to back up.
