AFFiNE

AFFiNE is a local-first knowledge base and collaborative workspace that combines block-based document editing, whiteboard canvases, and database-style views in a single page tree. Pages are assembled from draggable blocks, and a document can turn into an infinite canvas for diagrams, with real-time co-editing, comments, and sharing included.

Teams use it for internal documentation, meeting notes, and project boards, while individuals keep a private wiki that still works offline.

Self-hosting keeps every page on infrastructure you own, so notes never sit on a third-party server and backups can be made with a database dump.
